Well Christmas has come and gone ................. even though I try to slow down this time of year it never seems to happen that way! I saw on someone's blog that they just completely skipped Christmas this year and went to Cancun!! No stress on what to buy, no traffic, no waiting in long lines ........ sounds WONDERFUL!!!!

We had a fantastic Christmas as always! The kids got spoiled ............. no matter how many times I threaten them that Santa is gonna bring them coal, he always give's in and gets them everything on their list!!! I would too if I took a peek and saw these adorable faces!

Letters To Santa

I took the kids to the Mall the other day so they could give their letters to Santa! Of course they thought it was so cool that Santa had his own special Mail Box! We had planned to sit on Santa's lap but the kids got a little timid so we decided to just look at him from afar, he he! Didn't bother me at all because the line was a mile long! So then I took the kids to Nana's so I could get some shopping done. I think I only spent 1/2 hour shopping and 3 hours waiting in lines and traffic!!!!! I'll be doing the rest of my shopping online!

Hair cut time! Asher's hair actually looks really cute long and he has this natural swoop, kinda like the old Justin Beiber Style! But it was just getting too long and always standing straight up from static so I decided to chop it! What a Cutie!

My poor kids haven't had much of a Mommy so I've decided to take it a little bit slow this Holiday Season hence the reason why I'm blogging! We have managed to make quite a few fun memories in the past couple of years so I made a slide show for all of you to enjoy!

Schultz Family Christmas 2009

Well we went to Joey's parents, "Nana & Papa's" for Christmas Eve. We had a yummy dinner and then opened a few presents. After that we played some games and headed home to get ready for the big day! Shaydon and I made cookies for Santa and set out a plate of Carrots for the reindeer! He was so stoked to see that they were gone on Christmas Morning. As you can see, we got majorily spoiled this year! Shaydon has slept in his transformers tent every day since Christmas. I'd have to say I love all my new clothes!!!
I can't believe it's already been two weeks since Christmas! Time really has been flying! Asher is now 6 months old, he rolls around everywhere and gets himslef stuck under the furniture! He's almost sitting up by himself! He can say "hi" and he likes to shake his head like he's saying no! Another funny thing he does is moves his lips up and down like a fish! So Silly!
Anyway we hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and has settled back into your everyday routines. Hope everyone has a Wonderful Year, I can't believe it's 2010!

Trick or Treat

Halloween was a blast this year! We started getting ready as soon as we woke up! We went and visited "Nana and Papa" first! Shaydon wanted to get trick or treating so we didn't stay long so we went and had lunch at Wingers, mmmm yummy and then we went over to Joey's brothers house to get ready to go! Shady has been waiting for this day for along time! The kids had so much fun running from door to door! We had to keep reminding them to say "Trick or Treat" and "Thank You" Shaydon's cousins retired quickly but we made him keep going! He filled up his bag full and we'll just say we've all been enjoying his Candy! After that we went and saw Grandma Ball and enjoyed her delicious homeade donuts! So we had family pictures last saturday and I decided it was time to give Asher a haircut. I hate when they start getting that bald spot on the back of their head and right below it is this long awesome mullet! No boy of mine will have a mullet, it had to go! Asher wasn't to crazy about his haircut, he didn't cry but he just had this ticked off look on his face the whole time! I'd have to say his hair looks 100% better, what a cute little man!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

To all my friends and family who have been waiting patiently for an update of our family it's finally here! Here is what the Schultz family has been up to latly!

So yes, I have been super busy latly! Dance is in full swing and is going great! We are so lucky to have gotten so many students this year so we could finally have our own studio! I love all of our girls! It's a blast getting to know all of these talented cuties!

On top of that, I decided to start selling my beanies online, whoah .... yes you can call me crazy! Our dinner table is now my work table! Sorry family... what have I done - although the extra $$$ has been nice the stress and lack of sleep is not so nice! Hopefully I can figure out a good happy medium for family time, me time, beanie time, and dance time! lol

So with a 3 year old, a 4 month old, dance, beanies, and life of being a Mother and wife I am still alive and doing well! Busy as ever but enjoying the ride!

Here is an update of the kids!

Shaydon is my crazy 3 1/2 year old! Here's some funny things he's been saying and doing latly!

Joey and I have been calorie counting to lose wait latly so Shaydon over hears us talking about how many calories certain foods are. So he's constantly asking how many calories everything is. The other day I pulled up to Albertsons and Shaydon says "Hey Mom is this the Calorie store?" haha

One day Shaydon kept asking for "Shavers" all day, I couldn't figure out if he was talking about a certain toy or what the heck he was talking about! Finally, after all day of this shaver talk I figured out he was asking for me to do him a "favor" lol

One more funny thing, we were sitting there watching t.v. and a commercial with a toy came on and Shaydon says " Mom I wanna buy that toy, "PAUSES" then he says " yeah, for two dollars!"

Anyway he is such a funny guy and is constantly making me laugh, and also testing my patience! Silly Swim Shady - thats what he calls himself! lol

As for Asher, he is almost 4 months old now. He loves to yell and scream when he doesn't have his binky in, he also has a habit of making fart sounds and spits over and over again, its hilarious! He can roll over now and reaches out for things within his grasp! He loves his jumper! He's now on formula full time, I wish I could have nursed him a little longer but with my busy life also comes stress, and unfortunatly the twins dried up! LOL He doesn't seem to mind though, I can't wait until I can start giving him baby cereal! He's still not sleeping through the night! He loves to smile and giggle at anyone who will give him attention! He is such a sweet little guy! We love our little Asher bugs!

Summer Fun!

Over Labor Day weekend we decided to take a trip to Utah! We went to the Hogle Zoo, the Living Planet Aquarium, and to Boondocks! We also got to go to Chuck E Cheese and The Mayan! We had so much fun we didn't want to come home! Surprizingly, both kids were so good and easy the whole trip! Shaydon was ticked when he found out we had to come home! It was funny because for some reason he kept calling Utah, Tahoe. So he would keep asking us, "are we still in Tahoe." He also wanted the Hotel to be our new house! It was a perfect small vacation, much needed by all of us!

First Two Months of Asher!

So Asher is already almost 2 months old! I'm so amazed at how the time flies! He started cooing and smiling at about 6 weeks and now if I tickle his collar bone he giggles! So adorable! We love this little guy so much! He is such a good natured little baby, last night he only woke up once, THANK YOU! And unfortunately he has already began teething! He has a toothe coming in on the bottom. I myself started teething at two month and Shaydon already had a full set of teethe by the time he was 5 months old. So I'm sure little Asher will be the same! So overall we are loving life with our family of four!

Asher's Blessing

Asher was Blessed on August 2nd, by my younger Brother Tyler. He gave such an amazing blessing, Thank you so much Tyler! All who stood in the circle were, Grandpa Everton and Uncle Darwin from Joey's side of the Family and Grandpa Ball, Uncle Jaren, Uncle Chad, and Uncle Neil from my side of the family. Thank you everyone for making Asher's Day so Special, we are so glad you all could come!

Asher Burton Schultz

Asher Burton Schultz has arrived! We had this sweet little boy on June 30th! He weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 20 1/2" long. He has been such an amazing baby! I was a little worried of how Shaydon would be with him but he has been the biggest helper and just wants to give him hugs and kisses every second. I forgot how sweet and precious it is to have a newborn again. I love my little family! I would just like to thank all of my Awesome nurses who helped us with delivery and recovery! One of the nurses even let Shaydon help give Asher his first bath. She was so patient and kind to let him help out. So again, THANK YOU!

Still No Baby!

Waiting, and wishing, and hoping, and praying! So yesterday I went to the Doctor and they tell me there are actually none of my Doctors in so do you care to see this other Doctor! Um, yeah what else am I gonna do. So she asks me if I would like to be induced and I said yes but she couldn't actually schedule it until I see one of my own Doctors. She said I was only at like 1/2 centimeters and that she would strip my membranes a little bit. Then I had to make a Doctors appointment for the next day to ask one of my doctors if I can be induced! Sheesh! I was a little cramped up all day yesterday and we went and saw Transformers 2 (Pretty Sweet I must say) but I was having pretty strong contractions during the whole movie and we had really annoying people all around us! Hate that when it happens! The kid sitting just to the right of me munched down two full Large buckets of popcorn! YUCK! Anyway so strong contractions but they went away by the time I got home and went to bed. Today at the Doctor we waited in the waiting room for about an hour. The Doctor checked me today and I am now at 2 centimeters. Not knowing the Doc yesterday had stripped my membranes he does it again - Men aren't as gentle - OUCH!!!!! So If nothing happens in the mean time I am scheduled to be induced on Tuesday, June 30th, at 7:30 a.m. Hopefully my next post will be about our new arrival! Wish me luck!

Birthday Weekend Gone Bad!

So Joey's Birthday was on May 30th and mine was June 1st so we always try and celebrate it together. We decided it would be fun to go camping so I loaded up the camper and we took off on Friday. It was about 11:00 p.m. by the time we got there so we fixed our beds and went to sleep. We were all kind of getting sick at this point with colds. Joey woke up early to go fishing, me and Shady took the advantage of sleeping in. So yeah things were pretty good so far, after breakfast we all hopped on the fourwheeler and took off about two miles down the road to find a fishing spot. It started to rain really lighlty so we decided we better head back. Seconds later it started hailing marble sized hail. I'm in a tank-top, and the boys are in t-shirts and shorts. Poor Shaydon was sitting in the front. Hail hurts if it hits you standing still but Joey was trying to get us back to the camper quickly so it hurt even ten times more. By the time we got back me and Shaydon were both bawling! We were soaking wet with welts all over. It sucked! So Joey decided with us all getting sick we better head home. So I go outside to help Joey back the pick-up back to the RV and I go to get back into the camper and Shaydon had locked himself in the camper with the keys inside! We tried and tried to get him to unlock it but he just kept saying "I can't do it, I don't know how!" and then he started crying so it made me start to cry so Joey tells him to go sit on the bed away from the window and he has to bust out the window to our brand new RV to get Shady out. Probably the worst Birthday ever but definitly one to remember!

I'm on the home stretch and feeling fantastic. I have to say this is definitly a whole different ball game than with Shaydon. Its so nice not to be on bed rest and being able to exercise and play with my little Shady. We have certainly been enjoying the nice weather! Lovin Life!

Beanies and Blankies

Okay so my friend Shanelle gave me this super cute idea to put ears on my infant beanies. I thought they turned out so cute, these beanies are for you Shanelle - thanks for the idea! I hope you like my model, lol. It was the closest thing I had to a baby infant sized head! Also, I finished another afghan, I made this one in checkers rather then diagnol stripes - thought it turned out pretty cute as well! Now that dance is done I'm gonna have to fill my schedule with projects until the baby gets here. I think I have A.D.D.

Dance Addiction

I Just have to Brag about my little dancers! This year has been such an amazing dance season! Our little Babes (4-6 year olds) swept the whole year with superior and first place awards, also taking an overall judges choice award for the entire competition. At another competition they got the highest scoring routine of the entire competition and judges choice for both routines and at our last competition in Utah they took Overall Grand Champions for both routines! Juniors and Seniors have also swept the whole yaer with Superior and 1st place awards. As a team we were awarded Best in Jazz, Best in Lyrical, and Best in Costume. I just have to say I am so proud of these beautiful girls! Check out my Dance Addiction Blog to see more!!!!

Easter

Easter is always a blast every year and I was so glad to have such wonderful weather! On Saturday we went down to my Grandma's Pasture which is a tradition for my Mom's side of the family. We have a great big easter egg hunt down at the river bottoms, roast hot dogs, ride four wheelers, fishin, and fun fun fun! Eggs were hidden underneath logs, in ant piles, and way up high in the tree's. Thanks Unlce Klint and Uncle Ty for an awesome Easter egg hunt!

On Sunday Shaydon woke up to find easter bunny tracks all over the house which led us to our easter baskets and out the back door to where we found easter eggs in the back yard! After that we had breakfast, muffins, eggs, and o.j. and painted eggs! Notice Shaydon is only in his undies and an apron. Eat your heart out ladies! Lol

Shaydon turned three on April 6th! We of course had a Ninja Turtle Birthday Party for him. Joey and I have been working on his bedroom for the past few weeks which is his present from us. We still have a few more things we want to add to it but its turning out to be a pretty sweet little Turtle Pad! Thanks everyone who came to his party, and Aunt Wendy and Uncle Johns Family for sending presents! Also, thanks Kristal and Beth for the cards and moola! Everyone is so awesome to remember my little Shady! Love you all!

Okay so I am marking my 6 Month pregnant date! Everything is going pretty good other than I just really hate being pregnant. I am thankful not to be sick anymore but I still lack energy and being able to keep up with Shaydon! I am crossing my fingers that I wont have to go on bed rest again and that everything will go much better this time around in labor and delivery! Wish me luck!

Finished! This Afghan actually only took me two weeks to make but it turned out really beautiful. I love it! I feel bad because Shaydon's is so plain compare to this one, lol! So I'm sure by now you have figured out that we are having another baby boy! We are so excited for Shaydon to be a big brother and for him to have someone to play his Ninja Turtles with! The Doc said everything is measuring perfectly and the baby looks healthy! So we have picked out a few names but I would like some feedback on what name you like the best! Dreyson, Donavin, Daxen, or Braylon?

Bathroom Remodels

We have been living with out a proper bathroom for over a year! We had only a toilet in one bathroom and a shower in the other! My poor little two year old has been so deprived! We finally got one of the bathrooms done and it has been so incredibly nice! Shaydon takes baths for hours and sometimes wants two or three baths a day!

I don't really have before pictures but here some that we took during the process!

Here is the finished product! New bath tub, toilet, sink, slate floors, everything is brand new!

Anniversary

Well today is our fourth Anniversary! Yes, it has been four wonderful years already! Unfortunatley, Joey and I never get to celebarate are anniversary because he is always in Vegas at the Consumer Electronics Show. Me and Shaydon have had alot of fun with out him though. I took Shaydon to see Bed Time Stories and he loved it, it was so cute and funny. On the other hand Joey said he got to meet Jimmy Fallon and Les Shroud (Survivor Man - Joey's Hero.) Woo woo!
